Meadow Hill founder Matt Cota brings a unique blend of experience as a journalist, energy expert, and nonprofit leader. He holds a master’s degree in public policy and has spent nearly two decades managing trade associations in Vermont. In addition to his professional work, Matt serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Vermont’s Grossman School of Business, where he teaches communications. Cota was elected to the South Burlington City Council in 2021 and has also served as director with the Green Mountain Transit Authority, the South Burlington Development Review Board, and the Plainfield Planning Commission. As the founder of the Split the Ticket Fund, Cota has helped deliver over 125,000 gallons of free heating fuel to Vermont families in need.
