A simple request.

A six month delay so the complicated credit scheme is not implemented during the height of the heating season when our customers need us the most.

The answer:

"If we want less dependence on fossil fuels….. make it so they can't deliver."

The policy has the potential to disrupt the distribution network of an essential commodity that 4 out of 5 Vermonters depend on for heat, hot water, and/or cooking. But that may be the point.
